28-year old actor was found dead in New York hotel on Manhattan. He died from overdose of sleeping pills, in his apartement.

He was so young...
I'm not even sure what pushed me to draw this picture as a memento of him.
Maybe it's because 'Brokeback Mountain' was one of THOSE movies for me...
A milestone in cinematography.
Of course, he had played many other roles, as in
Casanova
The Brothers Grimm
A Knight's Tale
I'm Not There....
and many others.

But Brokeback Mountain has special place in my heart. So does Heath. Seeing all those photos when... they're taking him out of the hotel in that black.... thing.... makes me feel horrible. It's just the same I felt after Steve Irwin died all of sudden. It wasn't supposed to happen...

I know the picture might not be perfect and he might not even look like himself... but I tried my best. It actually happens to be the best realistic portrait I've ever done. Of course from a photo reference. It took me around 3 hours alltogether. 4B pencil.

The world is going to miss him.
The world will never see 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' including Heath... still not sure about The Black Knight'. (I think it's finished. but it doesn't matter now)

We miss You already, Heath.
